Every lift is different. This is the usual split. We confirm yours at the free site visit, based on how the lift is used and how it has been maintained.

Most have lifts between 10 and 25 years old that still have a sound shaft and machine but tired controls, doors and fixtures.
A cabin interior refit is available as an optional paid upgrade on a modernisation. It is not part of the standard package, so you pay only for what your building wants.

Typical work: a new controller, a new drive, a new door operator, new buttons and displays, and new cabin lighting. The shaft, the guide rails and often the machine stay. Modernisation costs a fraction of a new lift, usually needs no building work, and takes one lift out of service at a time. Replacement means a new lift and months of construction with all lifts affected. For most buildings, modernisation is the sensible first step. We tell you plainly if it is not.

After the work we test the lift and arrange the JKKP (DOSH) inspection. The lift is certified before it goes back into service. You keep the service report and the JKKP inspection report.
Yes, as an optional paid upgrade on a modernisation. It is not part of the standard package.
It depends on the scope. A fixtures package is quick. A full controller and drive change takes longer. We give you a schedule in the written quote and keep to one lift at a time.
